Responsibly Managing Legacy Fields

Sentinel Energy, named in acknowledgement of our commitment and obligation to our stakeholders, is an integrated, employee-owned and self-funded group of companies remediating and responsibly managing oil and gas brownfields. We combine the technical excellence of our team with modern techniques and technologies to produce profitably and over time retire late-life fields, creating win-win outcomes for landowners, other operators, and our partners. This includes decommissioning, dismantlement, environmental testing and remediation, well plug and abandonment, and surface land restoration — aided by our affiliated service company Longleaf Environmental Services.

We operate 180 wells in the Western Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma and Texas, with a leasehold of ~70,000 net acres. These assets were acquired through our merger with the original assets of Encino Energy, which remains a key partner of Sentinel.

We also have a presence and are planning to grow further in the Gulf Coast. We grow our upstream business by partnering with other operators and with mineral owners.
