A True Partnership

While the energy business is perceived to be very capital intensive, Sentinel has since its founding been self-funded by its partners and is wholly owned by its team and, post the combination with its legacy assets, our partner Encino Energy. Through thoughtful management of our cash, we are able to profitably produce and manage legacy oil and gas fields. We seek to grow in all parts of the oil and gas cycle by being a preferred partner of other operators. The fact that all of our employees are either meaningful direct owners in the business or compensated under our uncapped profit-sharing plan creates strong alignment among our internal and external partners.

We invest meaningful resources every year to cross-train our team, with the goal that everyone in the company have multiple skillsets that serve to benefit all of their partners. Critical attributes for all of our people include good attitudes, optimism, and willingness to try new things even though it some failures.
