Basins of Focus

Sentinel is currently focused on the Western Anadarko Basin, the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Texas, and East Texas. These basins have long histories of stacked-pay production and are well-suited for Sentinel’s strategy.

In the Western Anadarko Basin, we operate approximately 180 wells with non-operated interest in more than 400 others. Our acreage position is ~70,000 net acres primarily in Dewey, Custer, Roger Mills, Ellis, and Beaver counties. We have a high-spec workover rig under continuous contract, plugging nonproductive wells and performing other workovers.

In the Gulf Coast, our team has a legacy of successful operation of old fields using thoughtful diligence and long-term planning for remediation and retirement. We are evaluating a few dozen opportunities to enter the basin.

In East Texas, we own ~2,500 net acres of HBP leasehold and non-operated interest in ~20 wells in the Haynesville shale formation.

We are interested in growth in these basins where we can bring to bear our oilfield and environmental services and find win-wins with other stakeholders. This includes acquisitions, contract operating, leasing and prospect development of ideas generated internally and brought to us by others, and service work.
